Iván Duque inaugurating 2021 first solar plant of Colombia’s renewable energy transition plan
The 2021 first solar plant of Colombia’s renewable energy transition plan has been installed in Meta, officially announced by Colombian President Iván Duque Márquez, who attended the plant’s inauguration ceremony on Friday.
ZNShine Solar double glass solar modules with graphene coating technology will power the Colombian Ministry of Mines and Energy offices, generating more than 30% of the building energy consumption.
Colombia’s National Government goal is to reduce 51% of greenhouse gas emissions in the country by 2030 by installing six solar parks and having an installed capacity of renewable energies of around 400 MW by 2023.
