Job Summary:

Firstgreen Consulting is seeking a Solar Technician/Cleaner to join our Operations and Maintenance team for our rooftop solar projects in Guwahati, Assam. The Solar Technician/Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the solar panels installed on rooftops. The successful candidate will be comfortable with heights, have experience in electrical fault detection, and possess the skills necessary to clean solar panels effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintenance of solar panels installed on rooftops to ensure their maximum efficiency

• Detecting and resolving electrical faults in solar panels and associated equipment

• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance of solar panels and associated equipment

• Monitoring and recording performance data of solar panels and associated equipment

• Coordinating with other team members to ensure that all work is completed on schedule and to a high standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in electrical engineering or a related field

• Previous experience in solar panel installation, cleaning, and maintenance preferred

• Comfortable with heights and working on rooftops

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid driver’s license

The Solar Technician/Cleaner role requires physical labor, including climbing on rooftops, lifting and moving equipment, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
