DLF Epitome in Gurugram is demonstrating its leadership in operational sustainability by pursuing the highest level of zero waste certification, TRUE Platinum. This ambitious initiative, undertaken in partnership with Firstgreen Consulting, aims to transform the existing building’s resource management by implementing comprehensive zero waste strategies to achieve Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE).
The project involves a multi-faceted approach, beginning with a thorough waste stream analysis to identify all opportunities for reduction, reuse, and recycling. Following this audit, new zero waste policies will be developed and implemented, covering procurement, materials management, and staff training to embed sustainable practices throughout the building’s operations.
