Vatika Atrium, a key commercial asset owned by the Vatika Group in Gurugram, Haryana, successfully completed a significant high-performance upgrade to achieve LEED v4.1 O+M (Operations + Maintenance) Platinum certification in 2024. Guided by First Green Consulting Private Limited, this ambitious transformation was designed to modernize the existing asset, drastically improve its resource efficiency, and elevate its market standing. The goal was to allow the building to compete effectively with newer, modern constructions in terms of both performance and tenant appeal, all exclusively through the lens of LEED certification. Our scope of services began with an initial, in-depth planning and feasibility assessment to chart a clear and cost-effective path to LEED Platinum. This involved conducting a thorough audit of all building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing), analyzing historical performance data, and creating a detailed strategic roadmap that outlined the necessary upgrades, operational changes, and associated investments required to meet the rigorous standards of LEED Platinum.
