IOCL is accelerating its commitment to sustainability with the development of a new state-of-the-art facility in Paradip, Odisha, designed to achieve the IGBC Green New Building Platinum Certification. This project reflects IOCL’s strategic goal to integrate environmental responsibility into major infrastructure growth.
Partnering with Firstgreen Consultants Pvt. Ltd., IOCL is implementing a full-scope strategy to build a high-performance green building. The initiative focuses on minimizing environmental impact through enhanced energy performance, optimized water usage, waste reduction, and improved indoor environmental quality.
As part of the certification process, detailed analytics and simulations are being conducted to assess building performance and align design features with IGBC compliance requirements. Firstgreen’s end-to-end management ensures that the project meets every criterion for Platinum certification.
The Paradip facility is poised to become a showcase of sustainability in the region-demonstrating IOCL’s role in driving India’s transition to greener, healthier, and more efficient buildings.
