Connecting physical assets with digital context
Digital twin work for a 100 MW operational plant and the 300 MWac Barmer project, spanning asset hierarchy and construction digitisation.
The challenge
Large solar projects need a consistent connection between physical equipment, engineering records and operational information. Plant-level summaries become more useful when teams can trace them to the block, inverter and field asset.
Firstgreen’s contribution
Firstgreen’s TwinPro work for UPC Renewables covers asset digitisation and electrical hierarchy mapping for a 100 MW operational plant, alongside construction and asset-modelling work for the 300 MWac Barmer project.
Our approach
The work brings plant layouts, equipment registers and electrical relationships into a navigable asset structure. The operational use case focuses on asset-linked monitoring and performance review; the Barmer use case focuses on connecting construction records with the physical plant.
Project scope and status
Operational monitoring and construction digitisation are separate workstreams, with asset mapping and data validation central to each.
