About the Role
Firstgreen Consulting is seeking an experienced Climate & ESG Expert to lead and support high-impact assignments across net-zero strategy, carbon accounting, ESG frameworks, and climate policy advisory. The role involves working with corporates, financial institutions, governments, and multilateral agencies on climate-aligned transformation and sustainability reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support GHG inventories (Scope 1, 2 and relevant Scope 3) aligned with the GHG Protocol
- Develop net-zero and decarbonisation roadmaps across energy, industry, real estate, and infrastructure sectors
- Support ESG strategy development and disclosures aligned with global frameworks (GRI, TCFD, ISSB, CDP or equivalent)
- Advise clients on CBAM readiness, carbon pricing exposure, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct climate risk and opportunity assessments, including transition and physical risks
- Support preparation of sustainability and climate reports, dashboards, and investor-ready materials
- Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to support implementation and capacity building
Experience Required
4–6 years of professional experience in climate change, ESG consulting, sustainability strategy, or related domains.
You Must Have
Strong understanding of climate change mitigation and adaptation frameworks
Hands-on experience with carbon accounting and GHG inventories
Working knowledge of ESG reporting standards and disclosure frameworks
Strong analytical, documentation and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools
