About the Role
Firstgreen Consulting is seeking a Solar Specialist to support advisory and engineering assignments across utility-scale, floating solar, rooftop, and hybrid renewable energy projects. The role involves working across feasibility studies, DPRs, techno-economic modelling, and owner’s engineering support for clients in India and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support solar feasibility studies, DPR preparation, and prefeasibility assessments
- Assist in system design for utility-scale, rooftop, and floating solar projects
- Contribute to techno-economic modelling, generation estimates, and financial analysis
- Support layout planning, capacity optimisation, and yield assessment
- Assist in preparation of technical reports, drawings, and client presentations
- Support owner’s engineering activities, including design review and technical evaluation
- Coordinate with internal teams, developers, EPCs, and utilities
Experience Required
2–6 years of professional experience in solar engineering, renewable energy consulting, or project development.
You Must Have
Ability to analyse data, prepare technical documentation, and work across multiple projects
Strong understanding of solar PV systems and components
Experience or exposure to utility-scale and/or rooftop solar projects
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Familiarity with solar modelling or design tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, PV*Sol or equivalent)
