LEED Certification for Homes – EA CREDIT: RENEWABLE ENERGY
Requirements
HOMES
Design and install a renewable electricity generation system.
Receive 1 point for every 500 kWh produced per year by the system. The maximum allowable points for this credit is equivalent to the total points earned from all other EA credits.
Renewable energy certificates (RECs) must be retained by the building owner.
