Firstgreen Consulting, a leading sustainability consulting firm, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sustainability consulting services to clients across a range of sectors, including commercial, institutional, and residential. The Senior Sustainability Consultant will be expected to have a LEED AP, GRIHA CP, and IGBC AP certification and experience working on LEED, IGBC, and GRIHA projects. Knowledge of energy modeling and daylight simulation is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sustainability consulting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables are of high quality, on time, and within budget
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives for clients to reduce their environmental footprint, enhance their social impact, and improve their economic performance
- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on LEED, GRIHA, and IGBC rating systems, certification processes, and sustainability best practices
- Conduct energy modeling and daylight simulation to optimize building performance and energy efficiency
- Develop and deliver training programs and workshops on sustainability and green building practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking events
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, technologies, and policies in sustainability, green building, and renewable energy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, sustainability, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- LEED AP, GRIHA CP, and IGBC AP certification is a must
- At least 7-10 years of experience working on LEED, IGBC, and GRIHA projects
- Strong knowledge of sustainability, green building, and renewable energy concepts, strategies, and best practices
- Experience with energy modeling and daylight simulation software
- Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required
