Discounts for Green Buildings in Noida & Greater Noida area
Noida & Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority announced discounts for Green Building Certified Projects in their areas. Basically, their motive is to promote more buildings as Green Buildings or Nearly Zero Energy Buildings for energy conservation & energy savings & environmental emission reduction. Let’s have a look in below what is said in their guidelines:
- All building facilities may be allowed an additional FAR of 5% of the permissible FAR & additional FAR of 15% for services, free of cost provided that the applicant must fulfil the below conditions:
- Building is rated by LEED/IGBC Gold or Platinum/GRIHA 4 Star or 5 Star.
- Building has been completed fulfilling the parking & landscaping norms of the prevailing regulations.
The Building applicant has to submit rating Certificate for green building & also has to submit a Certificate of Compliance after every five years. They incentivised GRIHA Projects on a plot of more than 5000 sq mt and above with free of cost 5 per cent additional FAR for projects for complying with 4 or 5-star GRIHA rating.
