DLF is reinforcing its commitment to environmental leadership by pursuing the highest level of zero waste certification, TRUE Platinum, for its Down Town 2 & 3 properties in Gurugram. This initiative aims to achieve Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) by implementing comprehensive zero waste strategies throughout the existing buildings.
In partnership with Firstgreen Consulting, the project will follow a rigorous, multi-stage process. It will begin with a thorough waste stream analysis to audit all current waste and identify key opportunities for reduction, reuse, and recycling. Based on this data, strategic zero waste policies will be developed and implemented, covering procurement, materials management, and staff training to ensure the successful achievement of zero waste goals.
Firstgreen Consulting will manage the entire certification facilitation, from overseeing the documentation process and tracking performance metrics to submitting the final project to the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) for review. This project positions DLF Down Town 2 & 3 at the forefront of sustainable corporate operations.
