DLF Forum in Gurugram is making a significant stride in operational sustainability by aiming for the highest level of zero waste certification, TRUE Platinum. In partnership with Firstgreen Consulting, this initiative is focused on achieving Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) by implementing comprehensive zero waste strategies throughout the existing building.
The project follows a structured, in-depth approach. It begins with a thorough waste stream analysis to uncover all potential opportunities for waste reduction, reuse, and recycling. Subsequently, tailored zero waste policies will be developed and implemented, addressing procurement, materials management, and staff training to foster a culture of sustainability.
Firstgreen Consulting will oversee the entire certification process, from managing the detailed documentation and tracking performance metrics to submitting the final project to the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) for review. This project highlights DLF Forum’s dedication to minimizing its environmental footprint and leading by example in sustainable building operations.
