This ambitious initiative by DLF is dedicated to achieving Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) through the implementation of comprehensive zero waste strategies.
Working with sustainability consultants Firstgreen Consulting, the project encompasses a detailed and strategic approach. It begins with a thorough audit of all waste streams to identify every opportunity for reduction, reuse, and recycling. This analysis will form the basis for developing and implementing robust zero waste policies covering procurement, materials management, and staff training to cultivate a culture of resource consciousness.
Firstgreen Consulting is managing the entire certification process, from the facilitation and documentation to tracking performance metrics and submitting the final project to the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). This project underscores One Horizon Centre’s commitment to setting a new benchmark for environmental performance in commercial real estate.
