DLF IQ in Gurugram is elevating its commitment to corporate sustainability by pursuing the highest level of zero waste certification, TRUE Platinum. This significant initiative, in partnership with Firstgreen Consulting, focuses on embedding the principles of Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) into the core of the building’s operations by implementing comprehensive zero waste strategies.
The scope of the project is thorough, beginning with a detailed waste stream analysis to identify every opportunity for reduction, reuse, and recycling. This is followed by the strategic development and implementation of new zero waste policies covering procurement, materials management, and extensive staff training.
Firstgreen Consulting is tasked with facilitating the entire certification process, which includes managing documentation, tracking key performance metrics, and submitting the project for final review to the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). This endeavor positions DLF IQ as a leader in sustainable building management and responsible resource consumption.
